Car Hanger Installation
How to install Mind Grown Design model car wall hangers

There are many ways you can install your Mind Grown Design model car wall hangers. Feel free to install them as you wish, but here are some suggestions for how I recommend installation.
Installation method
- Determine where you want the car to hang on the wall and note (or mark with a pencil) where you want the top axle to be located. For example, use the front axle when hanging nose up, or use the rear axle when hanging nose down.
- Please follow the Command™ instructions for application of the adhesive strip. When applying the hanger to the wall, align the hanger’s Top Alignment Edge with where you want the axle of the car to be.
- When installing multiple hangers, you can use painters tape or pencil marks to help align and space hangers vertically and/or horizontally.
Once the adhesive has had time to activate, lightly place the models on the mount as desired and enjoy!
Tips
- The axle of the car should be as level (horizontally) as possible for proper functionality.
- A level or phone camera can be used to help level if you feel it is necessary, although leveling by sight usually works just fine.
- Leave as much of the Command™ strip’s bottom pull tab accessible as possible. This will make it easier if you decide to remove the hanger in the future.
- Do not apply excessive downward force to hooks. Hangers are designed to hold a small model car. Please only hang the intended items on or in the wall hangers.
- Light pencil marks can often be erased from painted walls easily. However, mark and erase at your own risk.
- Larger mounts, like the 1:10 scale RC mount, come with two strips. You can use one in the middle like the smaller hangers in most cases. Use them both (on under each wheel as pictured above) if you want extra security or have slightly textured walls. Always use both strips for the tire rack.
